Hailing from Pittsburgh, Pa., Ron is a United States Air Force Veteran. Since his honorable and decorated time in the military, Ron has worked in Senior Leadership Roles at Medco, Merck, and Mercedes-Benz of North America. During his 10-year tenure at Nestle, he turned around 2 critical markets valued at over $70 million each. Thereafter, he ran a $300 million division with National award-winning performance Because of the economic downturn and his reputation in the beverage industry as a ”Lean” and strong operator, he was tapped to turn around the operations of the second largest beer wholesaler group in the industry – Origlio Beverage, which is valued at over $ 1 billion. He served as their Vice President of Operations and the only non-family member of the executive committee until 2020. Currently, Ron is the NE Vice President for Waste Management, Inc. He runs a team of 17 direct reports, over 3500 employees, 27 Landfills, 29 Transfer Stations, sales, environmental protection and over 35 Hauling sites with full P and L responsibility of over $1.3 billion in annual revenue. Ron is also a committed investor with several start-ups outside the beverage industry.

While serving in the military, Ron earned a B.S. from Southern Illinois University, and a M.S. from Central Michigan University. While at Mercedes-Benz, he earned a JD from Rutgers School of Law, Newark. Ron also holds Lean Black Belt, Ratio Analysis and PMP certifications from Villanova University and MIT while owning two active patents.

Ron is married to Azzmeiah Vazquez-Ward Esq. and is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and the Philadelphia Union League. Ron is also a board member of the McCarter Theatre.
